Yeah its a scam. It has been going around forever. They are trying to steal your account.

It a scam yahoo would never email you asking for your account details do not respond mark it as spam.
This sounds really fishy. I'd personally say not to trust it. If you want, I think you can forward it to spoof@yahoo.com (I think that's the address) and someone at Yahoo can verify it.
