i need to defrag my computer and also was wondering if anyone can give me info or a site for a free antivirus trial. thanks

As far as defrag, it is part of XP. Go to all programs -%26gt; accesories -%26gt; system tools.

Run disk CLEAN UP BEFORE YOU RUN DEFRAG. If you have any errors and need to run chkdsk it will let you know.
As the other people that answered, Windows XP does have a built in defragger. But IMO its not that great. Its slow. I recommend Diskeeper, much better and faster than the built in defragger that comes with XP.

As far as AV trials I recommend NOD32, far better than Norton AV and isn't bloatware like Norton.
