when he presses the right hand side of his keys with blue numbers on they only display numbers but when he presses Fn key they change to letters how do i stop this 4 him we have just deleted a virus and it has only just started he's not a wizz on computers also what is the best free antivirus and maleware checker cause i have just wiped 280 maleware and trojans of his laptop 4 him cheers shaun.

Now...You're mate's FN key's messed up? Might he have spilled a liquid on it? Either way, the numlock key can fix it. its usiually near the F1-12 keys, now, in the case that his keyboard's clean, you might need to use it to unset numlock.
