i opened a email from youtube and when it took me to the site the thing said it contained malware but as soon as i saw it i clicked back literally under 10 seconds nothing about the computer is running weird like last time i got infected last year no alerts or nothing but just 2 be safe can sumone give me sum free antivirus websites also i currently have trend micro and should update it but is trendmicro free i kno housecall is but is it in general can sumone please help me im freekin out rite now!

Run both of these on-line scans. Both are free and excellent at detecting and removing malware free of charge. There is no need to un-install your current protections before using these.

1. Scan for virus, worms, dialers, etc. and remove (free online scan, no downloaded program) with BitDefender's Online Scanner

2. Scan for trojans, adware, and spyware and remove (free online scan, no downloaded program) with Ewido Online Scanner ( now known as AVG Anti-Spyware). This is NOT the same as AVG Anti-Virus.

These scans will take quite a bit of time. The time is necessary to clean-up an infected computer.

go to download.com and download zone alarm it will prevent anything from being installed without your permission it's kind of frustrating at first because it's in whats called a learning mode so ti ask for permission for everything even internet explorer but after you approve all your normal programs then its about the best program out there i've been usin it for 3 years and never had any problems and it;s stopped about 4 diffent trtojens from infecting my computer and before you ask yes it is free for personal use
